Vice-Captain of Athletics 2019 Profile – Will P

Will is without doubt one of the best athletes in the school. Although he is slight in stature, he is physically strong, mobile and athletic. He is a very talented and versatile all-rounder on the track, and if he is to continue his athletics at University, I am sure that he will do very well.

He has represented the school athletics team on the track consistently since he joined St Paul’s and was even selected to compete for the St Paul’s School Athletics Club whilst still at the Junior School, such was his talent for middle distance running in Year 7 and 8. Although he now mainly concentrates on perfecting his 400m and 800m, he is equally as comfortable on the track running 1500m, 200m and 100m such is his all-round ability.

Will’s determination and work ethic is an inspiration to his team mates and he always give up time during his training schedule to help the younger athletes. This year he will be the Vice-Captain of St Paul’s Athletics Team which is a great honour and thoroughly well deserved.
