Art gallery
The purpose-built art gallery at St Paul’s is located on the first floor of a four storey building which houses Art, Drama and English facilities. It was opened in March, 1991. Both building and gallery are named after John Milton, who attended the school from 1615 to 1625.
The programme of exhibitions is coordinated by the Director of Art with support from art staff. The brief for the gallery is entirely educational, although works are sometimes sold through the gallery and a donation made towards running expenses.
Artists interested in showing their work in the gallery are invited to submit a proposal to the Director of Art. The exhibitions are popular and attract interest from a wide, public audience as well as the local community.
