Physics Olympiad

Congratulations to all who entered the British Physics Olympiad. This year’s results surpassed those of last year in medal points (aggregating and awarding points as in the Olympics).

We secured three Gold (Jacob Ader, Cameron Lemon, Nicholas Leung), five Silver (John Beckett, Peter Dewhurst, Ben Iremonger, Tim Palmer, Sean Quah) and four Bronze medals. Our other entrants were all commended. 

Out of 1,690 entrants, from over 300 schools, Jacob Ader and Cameron Lemon came in the top 50 and will be invited to enter Round 3 later this month.
