Club drama

Every year, pupils at St Paul’s create, act in, direct and produce a variety of exceptional plays in a celebration of drama that involves many in the school.

Run on a Club (‘our equivalent of what in a boarding school would be your House’) basis, these performances play at the end of each autumn term.

This recording is from December, 2011, and was made by Luke Blackett, Ed Conder and Barney Couch (Year 13, Upper Eighth), who run their own video group, CreativeChaos, with help from Alex Forey (Year 9, Fourth form).

Every year at our school there is a day devoted to drama, where eight productions compete to win a very prestigious competition. For the last two years, CreativeChaos has set itself the challenge of creating a short announcement film for the finals — in one day, on the day itself, amid all the other madness and commitments. This year, after much hard work and many trials, we were able to bring you this, made in time for the finals! — CreativeChaos
