Congratulations to Barney Couch (Sixth Form) who came runner-up in the Under-18 category in the British Wildlife Photography Awards. His winning photo is now on display in Hoopers Gallery and can also be seen here — or on his own Flickr page.

Barney received his certificate and cash prize from Nick Baker, the naturalist, broadcaster and writer. His winning photo is on display in the gallery for a month and will go on a UK tour thereafter.

Barney also came runner-up in the Wild Wonders of Europe competition.
