Juggling World Record

Earlier this year, Alex Barron (Year 13, Upper Eighth) broke the 90–year–old world record for ‘most balls juggled’.

Alex made 23 catches of 11 balls, breaking the world record of 10 balls which had stood since the 1920s.

For a run to qualify as a ‘juggle’, a thrower must make twice as many catches as the number of objects being thrown. After years of practice throughout his time at school, Alex finally achieved this with 11 balls:
