Peter Thomson, 1939–2011

We are sad to learn that Peter Thomson, former Surmaster of St Paul’s School, died on 5 May. 

Peter served here as Head of History, becoming Surmaster in 1976. In 1984 he left us to take up the headship of Emanuel School, moving from there to become Principal of The Harrodian School in 1996.

In all, he worked in education for 50 years, something of which he was justifiably proud.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, 11 June, at St Paul’s, Hammersmith. To assist with arrangements, if you are planning to attend please email The Harrodian School.
