Summit at Downing Street
George Osborne invited team ‘Summit’ to 11 Downing Street this week to congratulate them on their fantastic victory in the Junior Achiever/Young Enterprise Europe Company of the Year Awards.
The Chancellor was keen to learn about Summit’s success in the YE Company Programme, where they won both the HSBC Young Enterprise Company of the Year 2011 Award and the JA-YE Europe Company of the Year championship, and was impressed by their product, Click: The Perfume Pen, and how they had promoted it. The Education Secretary, Michael Gove, invited to meet the team and hear their pitch, also praised Summit for all that they had achieved.
Summit’s thanks go to Gerry Keegal, the team’s volunteer business adviser, for organizing the meeting at Downing Street.
