Young Enterprise visits Parliament

Last year’s Young Enterprise South London champions, Team Endeavour, were invited to the Houses of Parliament this month to take part in Silicon Valley Comes to Parliament, an event aimed at inspiring young people and encouraging entrepreneurship.
The team was one of three chosen from the London area to present to a group of ministers and shadow ministers, including Ed Vaizey, Minister for Culture, Communications and the Creative Industries, and Chuka Umunna, Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, as well as entrepreneurs such as Mary Lou Jepsen, Founder and CEO, Pixel Qi and Co-Founder One Laptop per Child, Angela Lin, Head of YouTube Education and Megan Smith, VP of Google[x] at Google.
They were awarded first prize for their talk, before taking part in a Q&A session with the entrepreneurs.
