Sam Winter-Levy
Congratulations to Sam (2005–2010), Oxford’s choice for cox in this year’s Boat Race. He will be the youngest cox in the race for over 100 years.
Oxford cox Sam Winter-Levy will be the youngest Boat Race cox for over 100 years - aged 18 years and nine months on race day - but he showed his skill and mettle in a bad-tempered warm-up fixture against top club crew Molesey recently. — BBC
Sam coxed our 1st VIII for two years (2009 and 2010), taking them to third place at the Schools’ Head of the River. Whilst at St Paul’s, he represented England at the Home Countries Match.
Sam, who left us to read English at Oxford, follows in the footsteps of Ted Randolph, OP (2001–2007), cox of the winning Cambridge boat last year.
