Rugby
St Paul’s is one of the founder members of the Rugby Football Union.
Matches take place each Saturday in the autumn term: we field up to 22 teams against traditional rivals such as Eton, Tonbridge, Marlborough and Wellington.
We regularly have success in the Daily Mail Cup and in 2004 and 2007 the U15s reached the final of the cup at Twickenham. The 1st XV of 2010 had an extremely successful season winning the majority of their matches and being named Rugby World and Daily Mail School of the month in October and November.
We currently have an excellent relationship with Wasps and have six boys in their Elite Academy. Recent Internationals have included Hugo Walford and Chris Berry — and Will East, who captained England 18 group in 2008.
