More exam records in 2008
St Paul's broke all previous records at AS-level this year, including a gratifying 5% leap in the number of A grades achieved by pupils. At A level we had to be content with our second best-ever showing, judged on percentage of A grades, points per subject and points per candidate, following last year's all-time high. Subjects which had a clean sheet of A grades included Art, Computing, Electronics, German, Greek, Italian, Latin and Music.
We shall display our results subject-by-subject later in the year, once the outcomes of any appeals are known (see here for more information on publication of detailed results).
Some Exam Boards notify candidates whose performances place them in the top ten best marks. Paulines have regularly appeared in the top ten and this year is no exception.
