Maths team make Quarter-Finals

Our team representing the school in the London-wide Hans Woyda Mathematical Competition has progressed to the quarter-finals of of this year's event.

On the 26th January they scored a comfortable victory over a strong Berkhamsted School, the final points totals being 59:35.

The team of Binya Even (U8th), Robert Miles (L8th), Jonathan Rees (6th) and Dominic Yeo (4th) gained their place in the knock-out stages of the competition after victories over St. Paul's Girls' School, City of London Girls' and City of London Boys'.

The next encounter is with Haberdashers' Aske's School, leading on to the chance of winning through to the Final in March.

St. Paul's were outright Hans Woyda winners in 2001 and 2002.
