Paulines receive top results in last year's public exams
It has become customary in the last few years for some Examination Boards to congratulate candidates who have achieved top ten performances in individual subjects, and Paulines have regularly appeared in their lists.
There was a high number of excellent performances in the GCSE and GCE papers last term, with the following having been reported to date:-
Modern Languages: Darius Imregun (French), Mark Vandelli (Italian) and Gonzalo Garcia (Spanish) all achieved one of the best ten marks in the country for their respective A Level language.

Religious Studies: Alex Naffah was placed in the top ten at GCSE
Technology: Guy Emerson won a top candidate award for D&T Systems & Control.
Electronics: It happened in 2004 and we thought it was a unique achievement - five Pauline students scoring the top five marks in the country at GCSE Electronics. Now it's happened again!
Alex Rippingale, Jamie Carter, Eugene Wong, James Linehan, and Tristan Dodson (see picture above) each received a letter from the AQA exam board congratulating them on receiving one of the five highest marks in the country at GCSE Electronics.
2007 has been a vintage year for the Electronics department - twelve boys sat the exam for GCSE and all gained A* grades. This is the first time that every student has gained the top grade. In addition the five boys who sat AS level were all awarded A grades. As usual the boys used their flair and ingenuity to produce excellent projects.
Mathematics: Sasha Kasas obtained 100 UMS in each of the 6 maths units he took.
