Oxbridge Successes for 2007 entry
St Paul's celebrates the success of 62 of its pupils in gaining offers at Oxford and Cambridge in this year's entry round, equalling the record for recent times set two years ago. There was a strong bias in favour of Oxford this year, with 40 pupils gaining offers there and 22 at Cambridge, but the ratio of applicants to offers was very high at Cambridge.
Trinity College, Cambridge and Balliol, Oxford, were the two most popular choices this year for Paulines, but as in previous years applications were spread across the subjects and Colleges in equal measure. Particular success was scored by the Musicians, who gained three Choral Awards and an Organ Scholarship, and there was an especially strong showing from the mathematicians this year.
