Montpellier 2009
Easter holiday: 36 Fifth Formers on a one week survival course in deepest southern France. Discovered: the joys of acrobranches, Aigues Mortes (an entirely intact medieval city), Carcassonne (a rather more spectacular but renovated citadel), pancake-making, Montpellier (wondrous mix of old and new, knitted together by a state-of-the-art tramway) and the Ecole Klesse (where we found that you can teach a foreign language perfectly well armed only with blackboard and chalk).
