Metro finally do it!
Pierre Hotimsky, Michael Marks, Ted Randolph, Oscar Schonfeld and James Zimmerman have won the national final of the Proshare Stock Exchange Challenge. Over 7000 teams from across the UK entered with 80 making the regional finals and 8 competing in the final leg. This is the second time the team has made the national final and they finished third last year.
An unseen business challenge in the morning and a prepared presentation on how political risk influences investment decisions saw the team securing first place. The boys won a cash prize for themselves and the school as well as an all expenses paid trip to New York.
Metro Make it to the National Final
After qualifying for the regional finals, Pierre Hotimsky, Michael Marks, Ted Randolph and James Zimmerman won through to the national finals of the Proshare Stock Exchange Challenge. 7000 teams from across the UK entered the competition and 8 will meet in London on Wednesday 25th April in attempt to win an all expenses paid trip to New York with spending money.
The same team made it to this stage last year and finished in third position so they'll be hoping to go all the way this time.
