English-Speaking Union Public Speaking Competition

London Regional Heat Triumph

The public speaking team of Peter Martin, Luke Blackett, Louis Seigal and Henry Wong won the London Regional Heat of the English-Speaking Union Public Speaking Competition last week. They were victorious over teams from St Paul's Girls, Godolphin and Latymer and Latymer Upper School, among others.

This competition gives entrants the opportunity to demonstrate and develop fundamental skills in public speaking. It has been running since 1960 and has never been won by St Paul's. 

The team will next compete in the UK regional finals on 10 March, in London.
