Anton Fedotov places third in the UK in computing challenge.
Anton Fedotov proudly came joint third in his age group in a UK-wide computing competition – The UK BEBRAS Computational Thinking Challenge – held at the Department of Computer Science at Oxford University on 28 January.
The UK BEBRAS Computational Thinking Challenge, supported by Google, is designed to get students excited about computing and computational thinking.
With 14,402 pupils across the country entered into the first round of the Senior age category (Years 10 & 11 for England and Wales), and just 55 top-achieving invited to participate in the final, to place third was an impressive achievement. Anton received his third place certificate at a prize-giving ceremony at Hertford College.
