5 Centurions victorious over Hampton

The 1st X1 continued their good form, beating Hampton School comprehensively last Saturday. The highlight was a record stand of 228 (Tom Powe 134/ Harveer Mahajan 105; Year 12, Lower Eighth) that led to a superb total of 301-4. In reply, Hampton were bowled out for 135.

The result leaves St Paul’s at the top of the schools’ league, alongside Reed’s. Reed’s and St Paul’s play each other this weekend in what should be the decider.

The win over Hampton follows our emphatic recent victories over RGS Guildford and KCS Wimbledon.
