St Paul’s School extends warm congratulations to our departing Upper Eighth (Year 13) pupils following the release of A Level results today. The year group has achieved outstanding results, a testament both to their hard work and dedication, and to the commitment of the staff who supported them.

60% of all grades were awarded at A*, with 91.5% at A*/A. For the third year in a row, more than three-quarters of the cohort gained nothing below an A grade — this year 77.4% of pupils (164 of 212 candidates) achieved this. 99 pupils gained at least three A* grades, and 46 pupils gained four A* grades across their subjects.

87% of pupils have met their first choice university offer in the UK  and internationally, with 98% meeting their first or insurance choice.

We are pleased to share some outstanding individual successes:

• Adrian Siniscalco was the highest performer in the country in Cambridge OCR’s A Level History A.
• Dev Ketan Patel was the highest performer in the country in Cambridge OCR’s A Level Further Mathematics A.
• Vyom Chamaria was one of the top performers in the country in A Level Mathematics.
• Luka Barkan was one of the top performers in the country in A Level Art and Design: Fine Art.

Sally-Anne Huang, High Master at St Paul’s School, said:

“Today is truly joyous for those of us who have worked with this cohort of young men and can see every personal journey contained within these figures. It’s not so much the grades that count as the scholarship, curiosity and opportunities each one represents.

These figures are only possible because we are a community founded on care for the individual. I cannot praise the St Paul’s teaching staff enough — they are experts in their field who go the extra mile to help boys love their learning and fulfil their ambitions.

Heartfelt congratulations to our leavers, who have contributed so much through their dedication, commitment and humour. We have aimed to give them freedom and support, equipping them to flourish whatever the future brings. It’s been tremendous fun having them here for the last five years!”
