During the February half term, Anosh Malik was selected to train with some of the Middlesex CCC 1st XI professional players for a camp in La Manga, Spain.
Malik rubbed shoulders with the likes of England internationals Steven Finn and Toby Roland, providing a fantastic opportunity for him to observe first-hand the dedication and professionalism that is needed to make it as a cricketer at this elite level.
Anosh is currently a Middlesex Academy Player, with the one-week residential programme out in Spain seeing him put through his paces with a training routine that included strength and conditioning, fitness training, middle practice and a competitive match against Northern Ireland. Good luck to Anosh with his cricketing career going forward, whilst we eagerly await to see his performances for the school next term!
