A large number of modern linguists in the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Lower Eighth and Upper Eighth Forms submitted translations into English from French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Mandarin for this prestigious national competition in the Spring Term.
Judges report that 16,000 pupils were involved nationally and that they received over 3,600 entries to the competition. The judges remarked on the high standard and wonderful creativity on display. Particular congratulations go to the following two St Paul’s pupils for their success in the regional competition:
Level 2 Italian Winner: Antariksh Sinha (Fifth Form)
Level 3 French Highly Commended: Tolga Mardin (Sixth Form)
Antariksh will now be entered for the national competition as regional winner for Level 2 Italian.
