On Saturday, we held the first SPS Architectural Study Day with West London Partnership schools invited and an open invitation to pupils nationwide, which saw students from as far away as Manchester joining us on the day.
Speakers included Khalid Seydo and Samina Shahzady of KSSI Architects; Kathryn Firth from UCL The Bartlett and Director of Urban Design at ARUP; Claire Bennie, the Principal at Municipal; and Shajay Bhooshan, the Associate Director of Zaha Hadid Architects.
The four talks covered key issues in architecture from city planning, social housing and sustainable material solutions, providing a wonderful one-day deep dive in the subject. We very much hope this will become an annual event in support of architectural university applications.
