On Tuesday 11 February we were fortunate to welcome acclaimed horn player Ben Goldscheider to give a wonderful brass masterclass as part of the Barnes Music Festival. Well done to Nayan Shah (Sixth Form), Josh Knox (Sixth Form) and Ru Marcroft (Fourth Form) who performed at the masterclass alongside some very talented external students. Ben focused particularly on the challenge of using the breath effectively and it was impressive to see the remarkable improvement made by the students during the class.
