British Astronomy & Astrophysics Junior Olympiad, and British Physics Olympiad results

At the end of last term, AstroSoc pupils took part in the British Astronomy and Astrophysics Junior Olympiad.

They achieved six Gold, six Silver and two Bronze awards. Special congratulations go to Fourth Former Josh Knox, who achieved a Gold Award in a competition aimed at Sixth Form students.

Upper Eighth Physicists also achieved a healthy set of results in the British Physics Olympiad, with three Top Gold, nine Gold, fourteen Silver, thirteen Bronze 1 and twenty-three Bronze 2 Awards. We wish the best of luck to our Top Gold students, Sasha Gorin Delmas, Oliver Hiorns and Max Satchell who have progressed to Round 2 of the competition.
