This week, we celebrate and congratulate the 30 pupils who have received offers to study at the University of Cambridge. These offers span a broad range of courses, from Medicine to Music, with a particularly strong showing in Engineering and Natural Sciences.
Dr Ryan Buckingham, (Head of Faculty: Science, Technology and Engineering) shared: “The boys have worked exceptionally hard, and it is fantastic to see so many being rewarded with a Cambridge offer. The Science and Engineering departments are on a mission to create the problem-solvers of tomorrow – young men who are analytical, creative and curious, whilst also being resilient. These pupils have built their portfolio over many years of saying ‘yes’ to the various co-curricular societies and competitions available. Most recently, the boys have been put through their paces in our challenging University Preparation classes, with thought-provoking quizzing, problem-solving, and an introduction to the art of the infamous Fermi problem have prepared them for the admissions process. We wish all pupils the very best with their University careers and hope they will remain in touch.”
As ever, Paulines continue to demonstrate ambition and breadth in their university aspirations. Alongside Cambridge, there were 35 Oxford offers and several boys have explored international pathways, reflecting the School’s commitment to guiding each pupil towards the right destination for them.
We congratulate all those who have received offers and look forward to seeing them thrive in the next stage of their academic journeys.
