Chapel Choir Shines in Cambridge and St Paul’s Cathedral Performances

The Chapel Choir has been busy since the end of last week, giving a guest Evensong on Saturday afternoon in the Chapel of Emmanuel College, Cambridge (where there is a stained glass window of John Colet holding a wooden model of the 19th-century St Paul’s School site), joining with SPJ Recital Choir.

On Monday, both choirs joined with Paulina Voices from St Paul’s Girls’ School to sing the Feast Service at St Paul’s Cathedral. Music included Parry’s I was Glad as well as canticles by Walmisley and the departing voluntary (Vierne’s Carillon de Westminster) was performed at the organ of the Cathedral by Tolga (Lower Eighth Music Scholar).
