Congratulations to both the Chess Team and Debating teams for their recent competition success.
Debating
On Saturday, 22 January, Lucas Cadman and Corry Traynor (Lower Eighth) made it to the final four of the Harrow Nehru Cup. Last week, Lucas Cadman and Caspar Robertson got to the national finals of the Oxford Schools Debating Competition.
Chess
On Tuesday 25 January, the chess team participated in the regional round of National Schools Chess Championship. St Paul’s School beat Sir Thomas Rich’s School 9 ½ to 2 ½. The team is now through to the national round of the competition. Well done all.
