CompSoc talk from OP working in AI Security

On Friday, 14 February, CompSoc had the privilege of welcoming back Sam Lowenstein OP (2009-14), who works in Strategy & Delivery for the Chem-Bio Team at the AI Security Institute (AISI). His visit was particularly timely, coinciding with the Institute’s recent renaming from the AI Safety Institute, an announcement made on the very day of his talk.

Beyond discussing his role at AISI, Sam also shared valuable insights from his journey as a newly qualified graduate and later as a newly qualified lawyer. He reflected on the challenges of navigating an increasingly fractured job market and offered advice on how current Paulines might prepare for an uncertain professional landscape.
