Pauline, Alfred Jacquemot, won two gold medals at the Coupe de la Jeunesse (European Junior Rowing Championships) in Poznan, Poland.
On 30 and 31 July 2016, Alfred rowed in the seven seat of a dominant British Eight. The Eight stamped its authority on the first day of the regatta with a strong performance taking clear water on the field before the half way mark. They held off a late charge from the Italians to take Gold in 5:43, just 7 seconds off of the Junior World Best Time. Despite the Hungarians going out hard and fast the following day the British team kept their cool to take a second Gold.
Double Gold in the Men’s Eight topped off a successful Regatta for the British, topping the medals table.
