Following their strong performance at last week’s Oxford Union debating finals, Adrian Siniscalco and Aru Sarda (both Lower Eighth) competed in the Cambridge Union Schools’ Debating Finals on Saturday 22 March.
Going one better than at Oxford, they qualified for the semi-finals in fourth place overall and went on to win their semi, earning a spot in the grand final. Though they narrowly missed out on the overall prize, their achievement marks the culmination of a phenomenal year for both Adrian and Aru, as well as for competitive debating at SPS.
