With Earth Day recently passed, EcoSoc has decided to celebrate and heighten the environmental awareness at the School. Sustainability is at the core of Pauline values, which is why EcoSoc has hosted an array of events throughout this week. From an interview with the founder of EcoAlf, one of the largest sustainable fashion brands in the world, to an environmentally-themed quiz challenge with SPJ – there has been something for everyone.

A particular focus has been on how we can reduce food waste in School. Mr Roberts gave a talk about minimising food waste via sustainable design-based solutions. Our intrepid Captain team also helped by interviewing the catering staff to see just how much food waste we produce as a community. Suffice to say; we create a lot of waste! With the help of the catering staff, EcoSoc has been encouraging staff and pupils to consider what goes on their plate before it goes in the bin.
