Young Enterprise:

Following on from their success at the pan-London Spitalfields Trade Fair, five Pauline companies were in the running for multiple awards at the annual Richmond and Kingston Trade Fair at Eden Walk shopping centre. Green Matter (MD Dev Patel) won Best Trade Stand, and Canopy (MD Ronit Mendonca) won the overall Best Product winner. Angel (MD Marcello Nora) and Polyglot (MD Felix Kirchner) both received honourable mentions for their customer service and product respectively.

LSE Generate Programme:

Canopy, led by Ronit Mendonca, continued their award-winning streak by achieving joint top prize at the LSE Generate finals on Thursday at St Paul’s Girls’ School for best sustainable business concept. The other top prize also went to a mixed team of St Paul’s and Hammersmith Academy pupils – Halokey, led by Marcello Nora and Dariush Ghaffarpour. This was the culmination of over four months of work with the two teams beating 11 others from across the West London Partnership to secure much-coveted internships at the LSE’s Entrepreneurship Centre this Summer. Congratulations to all those who participated.
