The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) is a charity which supports excellence in British craftsmanship by funding the training and education of talented and aspiring craftspeople through traditional college courses, apprenticeships or one to one training with a master craftsperson. This exhibition, inspired by QEST’s recent book titled ‘A Celebration of British Craftsmanship’, features portraits and stories of some of the 500+ Scholars from across the United Kingdom that QEST has supported since 1990, brought to life with pieces they have made. Highlighting many varied and colourful craft career paths, we hope that this exhibition will inspire the next generation of craftspeople. This exhibition will be open on 23 January, 28 January, 4 February and 6 February.
To visit this exhibition please ask for Lucy McLaren or Victoria Cripps when you arrive at reception.
