Old Pauline, Paul Cartledge, joins a panel at LSE to discuss Power and Impunity: what Donald Trump and Boris didn’t learn from the ancient Greeks.
Paul Cartledge is the A.G. Leventis Senior Research Fellow of Clare College, and emeritus A.G. Leventis Professor of Greek Culture, University of Cambridge. He has written or edited some 30 books, the two most recent being Democracy: A Life and Thebes: Forgotten City of Ancient Greece. He holds the Gold Cross of the Order of Honour, Greece, and is an honorary citizen of modern Sparti.
