The St Paul’s Professional Groups were first launched in 2016 in collaboration with the Old Pauline Club and Parents’ Group. Their aim is to connect those working in specific professional fields and to support current pupils and young Old Paulines in their career journey.
This year’s Entrepreneurs’ Network will hear from keynote speaker Riccardo Zacconi, Co-Founder/Former CEO of King.com (Developer of Candy Crush) alongside SPS Head of Entrepreneurship Nick Troen. Join us for a topical discussion followed by an opportunity for pupils to network with professionals from the industry.
Riccardo Zacconi is the founder and former CEO of King.com, developer of the mobile game Candy Crush. He co-founded King in 2003 and worked there till 2020, after the sale of the company to Activision in 2016. Riccardo studied Economics at Luiss in Rome, worked in consulting at LEK and BCG in Germany and has been working in technology startups since 1999. Prior to King, he worked in the Swedish startup Spray (an online portal) and UK startup Udate.com and was an entrepreneur in residence at Benchmark Capital. He now focuses on early stage investing in startups and launching new ideas.
Please note that this event is open to 6th Form and 8th Form only for SPS Pupils, and Years 11 – 13 for Partner School Pupils.
