U3rd and L2nd Art exhibition 2022: Private Viewing

11 MARCH 2022

Centenary Building

The art department are pleased to announce a private view of artwork for the L2nd and U3rd boys and their families in the Centenary Building on Friday 11 March. Following the success of the joint U3rd and L2nd exhibition back in 2019, the Junior School are pleased to have the opportunity to run this exhibition again.

The U3rds will be exhibiting their large-scale lino prints of the human skeleton as part of the Anatomy project, while the L2nds will be showing their beautiful flower paintings done as part of the Impressionist painting project. The high quality work created by both year groups prompted the organisation of this show at short notice, to celebrate their hard work especially after such a long absence due to Covid.

This year, the fantastic spaces in the Centenary building are being utilised instead of the Hall, thanks to the science department who have lent the use of two science labs to display the exhibition.

Refreshments will be served outside under the eaves, where you are free to socialise with other parents. However, please be aware that mask wearing will be mandatory for all while inside the exhibition spaces, in accordance with Covid guidelines.

To ensure safety for all, session timed ticket have been created at 6pm, 6:30pm and 7pm to mitigate the risk of overcrowding, with tickets limited to 4 per person. Please follow the link below and book early to ensure you secure the session time that suits you best.

If you have any questions or queries about the event, please do not hesitate to contact the Director of Art, Neil Groom.
