Sasha Georget-Roukline (Sixth Form) and Julian Amore (Upper Eighth) have taken first and second place respectively in their British Youth Championships (BYC) qualifier in Foil.
This means that they will represent the London region at the National event in Sheffield. The BYC is a 24-event competition, with events in four age groups (U12s, U14s, U16s & U18s) for all three weapons and we wish Sasha and Julian all the best as they prepare for the competition.
Two weeks ago, Sasha also competed in Naples at the U17 International Cadet Fencing competition, representing Great Britain. He finished 145th out of 231 international competitors.
