GCSE results 2023

Following news of the Upper Eighth success at A Level, St Paul’s School is pleased to share information about this year’s GCSE and IGCSE results.

Again, our pupils have enjoyed great success, even with the context of a national re-set to 2019 levels. 60% of all grades were at a 9 with the figure for 9-7 at 96%.  In Mathematics, taken by all pupils, an extraordinary 89% of grades were a 9. 26 pupils gained all 9s and 82 nothing lower than an 8. We want to send particular congratulations to four of our art candidates:

Richard Eichhorst, Finn Johnsson, Lachlan Murray and Aidan Wong were all amongst the highest performers in OCR’s GCSE Art and Design: Fine Art.  This follows the same success for Axel La Pira at A Level and is testament to St Paul’s School’s commitment to creative endeavour and encouraging pupils to develop a distinctive originality in their work.
