Following last week’s A Level success, St Paul’s School congratulates our Sixth Form (Year 11) pupils on their superb GCSE results today.
This year, more than 65% of all grades were a 9, with more than 88% at 9-8. Over a quarter of the cohort gained 10 grade 9s or more.
High Master, Sally-Anne Huang, praised the dedication of pupils achieving such impressive results:
“This is another incredibly strong set of results for St Paul’s. That the boys get such consistently high grades across a full range of subjects speaks volumes about their talent and commitment. I’m looking forward to seeing them in a few days to congratulate them in person as they begin their A Level courses.”
Outstanding commendations were awarded to William Jenkin and John Ireland, both of whom were amongst the highest performers in OCR’s GCSE Art and Design: Fine Art.
Head of Art, Victoria Trinder, said that “these pupils pave the way for our new GCSE cohort, having demonstrated commitment and innovation to the highest level.”
Head of Creative Arts Faculty, Michael Grant, added “we are of course proud of all our students’ artistic achievements… John and William produced work that was emphatically beyond the expectations of the course. That is a huge achievement.”
Full exam results will be available on our website in October.
