Four Eighth Form pupils have been placed in this year’s Harvard International Economics Essay contest: Kangzi Chan (Upper Eighth) was highly commended for the second year running (top 30).
In the Lower Eighth, Jad Abuzayyad, Freddie Dehmel, and Arth Kochhar were all in the top 10 and will have their essays reviewed by Harvard professor and 2016 Economics Nobel Prize winner, Oliver Hart.
Harvard International Economics Essay contest provides students the opportunity to demonstrate an accomplished level of writing and understanding of economic theory. Through the contest, students hone their academic and professional skills and exhibit their knowledge.
