Harvard Pre-Collegiate Economic Challenge

Three teams participated in Harvard Pre-Collegiate Economic Challenge over Easter. This competition is based on the US AP curriculum with US-focused current affairs questions, putting our students at a quite large disadvantage compared to their US peers.

Nonetheless, one Lower Eighth team (Dennis Jian, Wentao Huang, Arth Kochhar and Sivarakulan Seyane) finished the competition’s group stage undefeated and entered the elimination round as the top seed worldwide. They eventually reached the quarter-final. We are also the only school in the UK that reached the elimination round.
