Congratulations to Dr Gaydon, Teacher of Philosophy, who has been appointed the school’s first Head of Character Education. This new role will develop and implement our character education programme based on the school’s values.
Dr Gaydon said of his new role ‘Character education took a central role in my research before I came to St Paul’s, it has shaped my teaching philosophy while I’ve been here, and discussions of what it means to be a person of good character are at the heart of many contemporary social debates, so I couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity. I am looking forward to talking to as many people as possible in the St Paul’s community about our values and what good character means to them and helping us realise a shared vision in interesting and creative ways.’
