Alex (Lower Eighth), Sean (Lower Eighth), Paul (Sixth Form) and James (Fifth Form) participated in the Independent Schools Judo competition on Saturday.
Alex and Sean participated in the senior age range and competed against students a year older. Both Sean and Alex achieved bronze medals in their weight categories, suggesting they will do well next year.
Paul and James were in the intermediate age range. Paul came first in his weight range, successfully defending the title he won two years ago.
James, who is competing for the first time after only starting Judo in September, brought his Aikido martial arts skills and knowledge to play and achieved gold medal success for his weight category.
