Adavya Goyal has been selected to represent the Great Britain team at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) from 10-20 July 2025 on the Sunshine Coast in Australia.
This brings the number of Paulines to attend at the IMO to an impressive total of three in the past two years, with Adavya joining Haolin Zhao and Michael Sydorenko who competed in Bath last summer.
The last Pauline to achieve a Gold medal at the IMO was Joe Benton in 2017 (having won silvers in 2014, 2015 and 2016).
