JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS AND COUPE DE LA JEUNESSE
Eight out of nine of the first VIII represented Great Britain this summer. Seb Benzecry, Bertie Woodward-Fisher, Harry Gething, Marco Hughes and Alfred Jacquemot raced in the Coupe De la Jeunesse in Hungary. Harry, Seb and Bertie won Bronze Medals.
Vlad Saigau, Freddie Davidson and David Ambler all competed in the Junior World Championships in Rio. This regatta was also the official test event for the Olympic Regatta. Vlad was the cox of the coxed four, which won the B final. David and Freddie were stern pair of the VIII which finished fifth in a very tight race (view results). The final member of the first VIII, the Captain Arthur Doyle who was too old to trial last year, had represented GB in 2014 and 2013, this means that the entire crew have now represented their country.
