This summer, Kynan Tallec-Botos (Sixth Form), Anderson Daffey (Fifth Form) and Wilder Daffey (Fifth Form) competed in the Irish Summer National Swimming Championships.
This is an international competition, which swimmers from other countries are allowed to enter.
All three swimmers achieved outstanding results:
Kynan finished: 3rd in the 100m Back, 1st in the 400m IM, 1st in the 100m Fly, and 1st in the 200m Fly. His times place him in the top 20 in the UK for his age group for backstroke and top 10 in the UK for his age group in both butterfly and 400m IM. In addition, these times mean that Kynan has been selected for the National Youth Development programme by Swim England.
Anderson won two silver medals: in the 100m breaststroke and 200m breaststroke.
Wilder reached the final of the 100m backstroke.
