Lower Eighth student, Oscar Vitou recently took part in the January 2021 Immerse Education Essay Competition.
The judges were impressed with his Physics essay and awarded him a partial scholarship to participate in their Cambridge summer programme. There were thousands of entries from students attending leading schools worldwide, and the judges have remarked on the exceptionally high quality of essays they received.
The Immerse Education Essay Competition provides the opportunity for students aged 13-18 to submit essay responses to a pre-set question relating to their chosen subject. The competition is run by the Immerse Education company, who run summer programmes at Cambridge University.
