Marlow Regatta

Well done to all of the St Paul’s crews that competed at Marlow Regatta at the weekend.

It is the first time we have had four J14 Octuplets competing at this level, and they did exceptionally well. Huge thanks go to rowing staff, most of whom gave up their weekend to allow the pupils to attend this regatta – Bobby Thatcher, Charlie, Matt Smith, Pradera Anllo German, Becky McGreevy, Dickie Twyman, Luca Nicolaou, Tom Killick and Nick Friend.

Saturday – 19 June 2021

1st VIII – Won the B final of the Championship VIIIs event, beating many adult and university crews in the process – they were the fastest school crew.
2nd VIII came 8th in the A final for school 2nd VIIIs
3rd VIII – came 7th in the B final for school 3rd VIIIs
J15 A crew – won the A final in the J15 1st VIIIs event
J15 B crew – won the A final of the J15 2nd VIIIs event

J14 A crew – came 2nd in the A final of the J14 1st Octuple event
J14 B crew – came 1st in the A final of the J14 2nd Octuple event
J14 C crew – came 5th in the A final of the J14 2nd Octuple event
J14 D crew – came 3rd in the B final of the J14 2nd Octuple event
